Capital BlueCross seeks a professional to develop the applications that support Facets
custom interfaces. As part of a team, you will gather requirements, design, develop and
test custom interfaces between outside groups/vendors and the Facets software as well
as handle daily operational support/performance of the Facets custom software including
enrollment/provider/claims interfaces. Knowledge of relational databases is required.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
or equivalent related work experience; 2-5 years of experience coding SQL; 2-4 years
of experience with relational database technology, involved in stored
procedure coding (including trigger creation), tuning and design across database platforms,
Oracle or Sybase, Sybase preferred; 1+ year of experience creating and maintaining
Unix scripts, as well as familiarity with Unix concepts; 1+ year of experience creating
and utilizing XML and/or .bat files. Knowledge of code migration tools, such as PVCS
or SubVersion, is highly desirable.
