Research Programmer Analyst

 

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia seeks a Research Programmer Analyst who

is very adept at working with large-scale data bases, SQL programming, and business intelligence

report development. 

 

The selected candidate will use SQL and report generation tools (e.g., Oracle business intelligence

tools) to develop self-service end-user reports to meet reporting needs focusing on: student progression

through high school and into post-secondary education; teacher preparation/production/retention; and

ongoing teacher professional learning. The candidate will also need to write/maintain associated

technical documentation. 

 

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/related field with 3+ years of relevant work experience;

experience with relational database systems/SQL programming; familiarity with business intelligence tools,

Oracle database/development tools and Unix; excellent interpersonal/communication skills; and ability to

work independently with minimal supervision.
