Facilities Technician

INFICON is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of  

instrumentation for semiconductor and vacuum-coating industries;  

essential instrumentation for gas leak detection to air conditioning/ 

refrigeration industries; and toxic chemical analysis for emergency  

response/security markets.

Our East Syracuse-NY office seeks a Facilities Technician to install/ 

maintain HVAC equipment/systems in various facility applications;  

follow blueprints/drawings/schematics/instructions; ensure proper  

systems applications; modify systems/equipment to respond to space  

and operational changes; troubleshoot malfunctions; and perform  

preventative maintenance.

Requires knowledge of HVAC operating principles obtained through  

technical schooling and 5-7 years of applicable experience;  

documented certification; strong leadership/communication/ 

interpersonal/organizational/customer service/computer skills; and  

flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
