Day Shift Supervisor

In business for over 100 years, OSRAM SYLVANIA is the North American  

business of OSRAM GmbH of Germany, one of the world's largest  

lighting manufacturers and part of the Siemens family of companies.

To join our York facility, we seek a Day Shift Supervisor to manage  

hourly production personnel in a stamping and high speed, high volume  

assembly operation; lead shift using teamwork, performance management  

and data management tools to achieve production, quality, cost, and  

efficiency goals; direct activities of off shifts through developing  

systems/communication methodologies to ensure daily action plans are  

effectively executed; ensure production/shipping plans are achieved;  

schedule labor/vacations/overtime/ employee management including  

training and staffing; and participate in maintenance/production  

planning/plant safety.  A BS and 3-5 years of supervisory role  

experience are required.
