Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians

Shelocta, PA

For our Keystone Generating Station in Shelocta-PA, Reliant Energy  

seeks E&I Technicians.  You will install, test, remove or replace  

allied equipment and control apparatus; insulate oil testing; weld/ 

set/adjust/maintain steam, water, and air flow meters/recorders/ 

temperature gauges and main/ auxiliary apparatus; and assist in  

combustion, furnace, burner, boiler, and superheater efficiency tests.

Requires successful completion of the EEI POSS test for Power Plant  

Operators and the entry level E&I Technician test plus residency  

within a reasonable distance from the facility in order to be  

available for call-outs and emergencies.  Experience in  

instrumentation and electronics or power generation and/or an  

Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrument Control  

are desired.
